Despite trailing 2-1 Cefn Albion played some excellent football on a bumpy surface to comfortably come away with all three points win a 3-9 win away at Coedpoeth United.
Credit to the home team they pressed high and caused the Albion problems in the opening ten minutes. They twice took the league but the lads who were moving the ball well and responded through oli and Alex. At 2-2 the Albion took control of the game two more goals followed leading into the break. 2-4 HT
Second half the boys started brightly and were passing the ball with confidence and ease. The front three in Alex (Mannion), Oli and Andrew were be fed excellent service by Dan, Dion and Nic and the flood gates opened. The game game eventually finished 3-9 and credit where it is due there was some excellent football played this evening. The back four in Nudge (Wez) Munch, Micro and Foulksy (Darnell) were receiving it from harry and passing through the banks at every opportunity, which was very encouraging to see. Confidence is really building throughout the squad which is good news for the league cup final approaching. The momentum is gathering nicely.
