After two weeks without a game it was Corwen, a team that are always tough to beat who were the visitors to the rock. With both sides in need of 3 points it was bound to be a good game.

It was the Albion who started the brighter and they were passing the ball freely on the big pitch at the Rock. The visitors were struggling to keep up with the fast passing of Cefn that was moving the away team around. Cefn dominated throughout the entire first half and thanks to a fine save from the away keeper the scores remained 0-0 at HT. The lads were very unlucky not to have anything to show for their dominance.

Second half the lads went in search for the opener and the first major talking point came when the Albion were denied what looked like a perfectly good headed goal. The referee disallowing for a push. Almost immediately after that decision we saw the first goal of the afternoon with Corwen scoring to make it 0-1. The Albion responded well and were back on level terms just 5 minutes later when Nic Jones scored a good header. By this point the game was becoming much more open and it wasn't long before Corwen retook the lead 1-2. At 1-2 down the Albion and front man Oli davies were denied by the crossbar. Soon after Oli Davies inevitably got himself on the scoreline when he poked home to end a good move. 2-2. Albion were to become even more frustrated when Sean Jones rattled the crossbar for the second time of the afternoon. The two teams went in search for a winner and on 87 minutes following a very poor defensive decision the away team looked to have cruelly  snatched all three points 2-3. However, just two minutes later 17 year old kien Morris slotted home to draw cefn level. In a good game for the neutral it was the Albion who could have nicked it right at the end but it finished all square.

Another frustrating afternoon for the team who despite their dominance found themselves behind three times. Some great passing and moving which really troubled a team that will be up there come may.

We would like to thank our match Ball Sponsored Cefn Aerials (Kev Griff & Spud Roberts) and all the supporters who come to back the team.
