Bangor City Away - Supporters Information

We want to ensure that all travelling Cefn Albion supporters have a great experience whilst following the football club to the VSM Bangor Stadium (Nantporth). Below is some useful information to help with your match day

COACH INFORMATION

There are three coaches which are full. The information is as follows

  • BUS ONE (PLAYERS & MANAGEMENT) – This is a 52 seated coach that will be leaving the Cefn Legion at 11:00
  • BUS TWO (SUPPORTERS) – This is a 49 seated coach will be leaving the Cefn Legion at 12:00
  • BUS THREE (SUPPORTERS) – This is a 28 seated coach will be leaving the Cefn Legion at 12:00

GETTING TO the VSM BANGOR STADIUM (NANTPORTH)

By Car:

Sat Nav Postcode: LL57 2HQ

Car Parking: The VSM Bangor Stadium has parking space for approximately 100 vehicles and availability on matchdays is strictly on a first come first served basis.

By Train:

Bangor Railway Station is located in the city centre and is situated approximately 1.2 miles away from Nantporth.

On foot from the station: Come out of the main entrance of the station and turn left along Holyhead Road, passing through Upper Bangor. The Stadium can be reached within 20 minutes at a moderate walking pace.

By Bus:

Several services such as the X4, 57 and 62 stop just outside the main entrance to the Stadium (Coleg Normal stop). This is an approximate seven to eight-minute bus ride from Bangor Bus Station (via Bangor Railway Station). Please check www.arrivabus.co.uk for service times.

FOOD & DRINK

During the game a range of refreshments will be available to purchase from the catering outlet situated at the foot of the staircase below the main entrance turnstiles before the match and at half-time. Hot food includes pies, burgers, chips, and sausage rolls. Cold snacks are also available such as crisps, chocolate bars and sweets. A full range of hot drinks and soft drinks are also on offer.

Alcoholic beverages are available in our clubhouse facility The Farrar Suite. The consumption of alcoholic beverages is restricted to the clubhouse area only and is strictly prohibited within the stadium itself.

Its £2 a pint until the first goal of the game is scored!

ACCESSIBILITY

Bangor City offer a range of facilities and provisions for all disabled supporters. The Gwyn Pierce Owen (Main) Stand provides an elevated viewing area for wheelchair users. Please make yourself known to a steward upon arrival who will be more than happy to assist with any queries.

FINAL NOTE

Firstly, we want to thank the fantastic support that will be making the trip to Bangor, at our level there is no other support like it! However, alike Bangor City at Cefn Albion we pride ourselves on being a community orientated Football Club where everyone should feel welcome and part of what we are about meaning everyone enjoys the day in their own way.
