Cefn Albion to Support Roman’s Fund

Through Paula Roberts at Cefn Druids, Cefn Albion has recently heard about Roman's story and we would like to use our platform to try and help. There is a raffle to raise money for ‘Roman’s Fund’ and we have decided to purchase all remaining 46 numbers and sell them to our followers who would like to help. If we don't sell them then the club will pay the difference. Roman was representing Cefn Druids before he recently left to play grassroots and sign for Rhosddu. Roman's brother still represents Druids EDS so the family has a strong connection to Cefn Mawr.

Roman broke his ankle while playing football for Rhosddu 14’s which led to him contracting Acute Osteomyelitis, a severe infection, involving a number of operations and long term treatment.

The idea behind ‘Roman’s Fund’ is that we will do lots of different fundraising events over the year. We will then split the money and make a donation to Alder Hey hospital as they have been fantastic with the care of Roman. The rest will be for Roman and his family to use to help with his recovery and rehabilitation.

Each ticket is £5 and you can buy as many tickets as you want. When payment is made we will write your name next to a number and the draw for the winner will be on 23rd December and then we can deliver the prize on Christmas eve, just in time!
