Christmas Jumper Event 2022

On Sunday the 18th of December players, management, and supporters connected to Cefn Albion football club will be meeting for the annual Christmas get-together. Following recent charity event successes, this year we will use the opportunity to raise some money for local lad Emyr Hughes, the event will take place at the Cefn Club. 

This year it's the return of the darts and pool knockout and Nick Jones, who works tirelessly for our club, has come up with a plan to ensure that we all enjoy another fantastic occasion. It previous years we have had over 40 people dressed in Xmas gear taking part so lets go bigger and better

We are still looking for more raffle prizes so that we can raise additional funds to donate them towards Em, if you think that you can help then please do get in touch with the club, Dean Morris, Nick Jones or the Cefn Club. Thanks in advance!

The competitions will begin at 13:00 at our fantastic HQ, the Cefn Mawr Community Social Club.  The format and rules are as follows:

• All players will be paired.
• All paired players will be drawn out.
• Pool matches will consist of a 1 frame shoot-out except for the final which will be the best of 3.
• All darts matches will 1 leg except the final which will be the best of 3, legs will be 501 straight off and double finish.
• Pool rules: any foul 2 shots, with the white ball placed behind the baulk line, any nominated pocket for the black.
• The entry fee for both events will be £5 per pair.
• Trophies will be presented to the winners.
• All entrants must wear the traditional Christmas jumper.

Please come on down to the 'Cefn Club', have a fantastic time and make some money for a great cause. All players, staff and supporters are welcome.
