First Team Manager Vacancy

Due to a change in Ian Andrews’ work commitments, Cefn Albion Football Club (CAFC) is actively recruiting a new first team manager to primarily lead a competitive squad of players in the Ardal Northern East league, Tier 3 of Welsh Football.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join CAFC as the new first team manager. The club is seeking a talented, hardworking, enthusiastic, and ambitious individual to lead the development of our football activities, leading the first team and working closely with assistants, coaches, and non-playing personnel at the club.

With a responsibility to oversee the day-to-day operations of the club's footballing activities, the successful candidate needs to be well organised, experienced and excellent at building strong working relationships across multiple areas of the club. Coaching badges equivalent to UEFA A or B are desirable but not essential as the club will be prepared to support the right individual in acquiring the required qualifications to compete at the highest level within the FAW pyramid.

The appointed first team manager will be responsible for the planning, operations and coaching of the club's senior teams. This includes our football offer and our participation in FAW-governed leagues. You will also be expected to work closely with the General Manager, Reserves Manager, Assistant Managers and Coaches to ensure we are delivering a programme that is aligned with our football strategy and club ethos.

The environment at CAFC is based on community, and charity whilst providing a respectable footballing platform for local people from Cefn Mawr and surrounding areas. The overall aim is to continue driving the club forward to help it achieve the highest level of participation.

The successful candidate will also be expected to work alongside key volunteers and stakeholders to ensure the club is meeting the goals and objectives that have been put forward and agreed upon.

This is a fantastic career development opportunity, including the chance to enhance the CV by way of Coach Pathway Advancement whilst honing further managerial skills.
