PKCG sponsor first team Training Tops

In what's turning out to be an excellent week off the field for Cefn Albion Football Club we are delighted to announce further sponsorship news for the current season.

Another fantastic deal has been secured and this time our hard working committee have been able to agree a deal which sees the Albion join forces with local volunteering group the Plas Kynaston Canal Group ((PKC) Group) who are in association with the Hollybush in Cefn Mawr. Dave Metcalfe who is the project manager of the PKC group has been a key supporter & sponsor of Cefn Albion since we formed and has once again very kindly agreed to sponsor all training tops for our first team.

The PKC Group is a voluntary group, and all their team members are volunteers. Regardless whether they are local to the area or live elsewhere they all want to make a contribution because they can see the common sense of constructing a canal, just over half a mile long that will reconnect Cefn Mawr and Surrounding Villages to the Inland Waterway Network of the UK. They believe that it would be foolish to miss an opportunity such as this, not only for us, but our Children and our Grand Children, for generations to come.

We would publicly like to thank Dave and the PKC group for their generosity and continued support towards our football club as we strive to provide the best we can for local lads who represent this community in football. We urge all our supporters to back the plans put forward by the PKC group and support them in any way you can in their quest to connect all surrounding communities to the Inland Waterway Network of the UK.
