Thousands of Pounds have been raised for local charities and causes

We are delighted to confirm that since 2012, alongside the Cefn Mawr Community Social club we have together raised over £4,000 which we have donated to nightingale house hospice in Wrexham. In addition to this, through events such as charity sponsored bike ride’s organised by our very own Nick Jones we have also been able to donate just over £2,000 towards the shooting star unit in Wrexham Maelor hospital and just over £500 towards the Childrens ward also at the Maelor.

It’s also worth noting that since we formed official links with our good friends Cefn Druids we have also donated hundreds of pounds towards local causes such as the Rhosymedre Grave yard ‘clean up’ fund and Plas Bod Llwyd residential home. We are rapidly approaching the £10,000 donation mark!

All this couldn’t be possible without our hard-working volunteers and the fantastic people with in the local community and beyond. Any opportunity that we get to raise money to help local causes and charities we will do everything we can to make it a success. As a community we have shown on many occasions how good we all come together to support each other.

There is a poster to say thanks to everyone which the Cefn Mawr community Social club will post very soon. We will share this also.

Once again, a massive well done and thank you to every single person that has been involved!
